Yeah, I couldn’t resist using the soundtrack answer to every tv promo, or segment ending with Semisonic’s never-dying single “Closing Time.” But I did spare you by not looking for a way to link the song in this entry.

So this week is the closing for our construction loan. I dont’ think we quite believe it. Seems so long ago that we started – May 2005. Sadly, we’re not planning on seeing the savings we hoped for to get cash back at closing. We’re are planning to see those savings in the end after construction is over. We’ve been real conservative with our numbers as to keep us safe from overages.

It’s all still a little overwhelming. Borrowing a lot of money is scary whether it’s a great investment like a home or if starting a business you believe in. I’ve been asking friends their opinions just to get some objective advice. It’s helped. I feel better. Thanks.
