Most people that have a chance to build their own home aren’t lucky enough to have it built 100 yds away from their current home. We just kinda lucked out. The only disadvantage to living so close is watching this very slow process.
Kelly was my somewhat willing participant in this video demonstrating how close we live.
that’s a fun video. I like your blog; I’m sorry I don’t comment more. It wears me out just reading about all the stuff you and Kelly have to do to build a house… It makes me laugh to think of Cathy and me trying to pull something off like this. Kudos.

You’re right, it is great that the two of you are so close to the new house. You can watch the progress so closely. I can’t wait to make the walk with you two when it’s all done!
